Located just outside Wells, Somerset we are looking for a full-time, on site, maternity cover Buyer.
Your focus will be to secure materials on the best possible terms whilst considering pricing, inventory and quality to deliver our world class unique products. Building strong day to day relationships with existing suppliers and forging new partnerships.
By being super organised, maintaining delivery dates, regular communication with suppliers on all aspects of a purchase order cycle and tracking deliveries you will play a key part in the smooth and efficient running of our fast-paced production plan. Whilst using our systems you will have actuate data at your fingertips to foresee problems and provide solutions to our Supply Chain team.
Review price challenges and negotiate with suppliers should be second nature whist maintaining good operating partnerships. We value our internal teams just as much as our partners and therefore you will work regularly and collaborate with our technical experts, operational teams, and account management.
Salary: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per annum
